Clinical Trials in Children and Young People. From aspiration to action.

Save the date for a one day meeting on Friday 30th of August at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

A great chance to get together with trialists and child health professionals to hear what is possible and what is happening in Australia.

If you’re keen to improve our capacity to undertake clinical trials in children and young people in a way that will lead to research discovery and clinical improvements.

APRN Autism team to present at Asia Pacific Autism Conference 2013

The APRN endorsed project Family Needs around the Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Diagnosis has had two abstracts accepted at the Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC) in Adelaide on the 8th-10th of August 2013.

APRN members Sabine Hennel (VIC), Christos Symeonides (VIC) and Cathy Coates (VIC) will be presenting:

1. Information needs of families after a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder: a cross sectional survey of parents by the Australian Paediatric Research Network

2. Paediatrician approaches to diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder: a survey of Paediatricians by the Australian Paediatric Research Network
